GMC Repair: 2000 GMC JIMMY, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

Question
I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy.  My truck will run fine one minute and not the next. I can be driving and all of the sudden it seems the fuel and air that its getting just stops. I can have the accelerator pushed down to the floor and the RPM's isnt moving at all. I have changed the Crank sensor, Engine coil, ignition module, alternator, and a mass air flow sensor. None of these has helped my truck. I was told to maybe check the fuel pump. I had the pressure checked and it read 50. What should the pressure read? What do you think my problem might be?

Answer
Hi
The fuel pressure is low.
50 is too low for this system.
It neede between 60-66 psi, no more no less.
I would again take it to a repair shop and have them PROPERLY diagnose your problem.
No need to spend any more money and not get your vehicle fixed.
I Hope this helps.
Good Luck
