GMC Repair: 2003 envoy heater core replacement, heater core replacement, weekend mechanic

how hard of a job is it to replace the heater core on 2003 GMC Envoy  has all the bells and chimes ?

It is a VERY large job, the ENTIRE dash/ IP carrier/ IP assy HAS to be removed. I JUST did an A/C Evap core friday and it took ALL day and I still am not all the way completed.
All you'll have left is the wire harness, everything from seats forward was removed.

UNLESS you're VERY mechanically inclined, or have done this work type of work before, I would say for a do it yourself'er or a "weekend " mechanic I would NOT recommend attempting this. The A/C system will also have to be evacuated and recharged as the evap and heater ore are located in the same case.
