GMC Repair: electronic door locks, door switch, body control module

Question
2000 regal lse - electronic locks will not LOCK either with door switch or remote.  They will UNLOCK with remote and door switch but will not lock.

Everything is controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module)that has to do with Door Locks.
There is only one fuse, and if the unlocks work, the fuse is good, as it operates all door lock functions.
If you could, take it to a repair shop that has a scan tool.
Go into BCM data, inputs and watch the lock status. If it changes with the button presses, the BCM is VERY LIKELY at fault.
I would almost say it is without the testing, but  I would get it double checked. It COULD be a wiring issue.
If you take it and the scan comes out with the BCM checking OK, follow post back and I'll help hunt down the wiring fo rthat circuit.
