GMC Repair: 1994 gmc van transmission, vehicle speed sensor, gmc van

Question
My speedometer is not working and my transmission will not shift.  I had it check and the speed sensor was bad replaced, replaced speedometer also.... any other suggestions.

Hi
I would check the wiring to the VSS (vehicle speed sensor).
Also I would check that particular vehicle for a DRAC module (VSS Buffer). It is located in the drivers side footwell kick panel area.
That would be my suggestions.
