GMC Repair: 2002 GMC Encoy, amp fuse, low hdl

Question
BOTH LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS WENT OUT WITH NO WARNING. CHECKED 10 AMP FUSE IT WAS OK. CHANGED BULBS BUT IT DID NOT HELP. HAVE YOU HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM. I DO HAVE VOLTAGE IN THE CONNECTOR.

Answer
Hi
The BCM (body control module) recieves the headlamp ON signal from the switch.
The BCM then sends the control current for the HDM relay, (underhood fuse box). The B+ current comes from the fuse box busses and is sent to the LOW HDL LT and LOW HDL RT fuses and out the the respective headlamps.
Not sure what connector  or where you have voltage, but if you have voltage AT the headlamps, then I would check the grounds. They are JUST as important as the hot.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
