GMC Repair: Fuel gauge not working, fuel gauge, tank unit

The fuel gauge on my 91 sonoma was working fine. I shut the truck off when I got to work when I went back out and started it up no fuel gauge. I have checked the connections, and the fuses. All the other dash gauges are working fine. It is digital so I even checked the lights on the back and none are burned out. Help.

Its a pretty simple circuit. The pink wire from the fuel sender (In tank) feeds the cluster.
It passes through 5 connectors along the way.
I woul;d attempt to unplug the fuel tank unit it should go to full.
If not, the circuit is grounded or the tank unit is at fault.
