GMC Repair: 1996 GMC Full size 8 4x4 350, brake drums, brake drum

Question
My driver side rear wheel locks up, only in foward not in reverse, could it be the brake(drums)or could the limited slip be the problem? I jacked up the rear and the pasenger side is free spinning foward and rev. but the drivers side spins only in reverse??  wad-up  Lyle

Hi
I would jack up truck, removed the drivers side wheel assy AND remove the brake drum. See if the axle spins then.
If so, you have a brake problem. If not if the truck has limited slip, it may be the clutch in the rear axle sticking.
Just advice from experience.
