GMC Repair: 2002 GMC YukonXL, fuse block, fuse panel

Question
A/C has stopped working as of this morning. Checked door fuse panel and fuse is good. Fan motor blows , but warm air. Checked fuse block under hood that seems good too. Any ideas. Neil

Answer
Hi
First, check freon level.
Low freon pressures will not allow compressor to turn on.
Check the belt, make sure it's still there and spinning.
If not you need a compressor from "Slugging" the liquid (common problem on this system)
If belt OK, you'll need to make sure the  compressor Clucth is getting current.
If not it could be the small Low Side Cycling switch, located on the Accumulator/dryer (right firewall).
Could be the A/C Control head.
There is alot of different things it could be.
Check the belt first.
If it is OK, and you want more help, please post a follow up.
Just advise from experience.
Good Luck
Paul
