GMC Repair: 2004 gmc envoy, gmc dealership, gmc envoy

My service 4 wheel drive light came on and stayed on.  I have not ever had it in 4 wheel drive. I have 33,000 miles on it.  What is wrong.

With the mileage, as long as your 3 years have not run out, your vehicle SHOULD still under manufacturers warranty. I would take it to your GMC dealership and have them diagnosis and repair your 4wd system. There is a pretty good number of things it can be, so for me to guess would be just that, a guess. If it is not still under warranty, take it to another repair facility and have them retreive the 4wd trouble codes. Then, if you wish, let me know what they are, and I'll help you with the diagnosis.
