GMC Repair: 2001 gmc electric brake wiring harnass, sierra truck, sorry paul

i purchased wiring harnass for electric trailer brake.this is the new harnass.i can't find the older harnass(brown connector not white). I was told that 2 wires had to be rolled for this harnass to work on my sierra truck.Which 2 wires?Is that all that needs to be done

After days of research, I CANNOT find one single schematic for the electric brake wire on this truck.
I know where it is, I know how to hook it up.. but I just never ran into the brown or white connector problem. Of course, I must admit we had an accessory tech at the dealership I work at, but he has moved on. He use to do all those things as opposed to us A Line techs having to do these things. I feel embarressed, that something probally so easy, I cannot figure out without a schematic.
My advise... Either take it to a trailer dealer in your area, or back to a dealership and have them get you the correct plug. I has to still be avalible, it's only 5-6 years old... they ususally do not delete parts for 15 years. I am VERY sorry I am not able to assist you at this time.
