GMC Repair: 91 GMC engine quit running, gmc truck, dollors

Pete---do you have any expertise in the electrical end of repairs or are you more towards the mechanical part?  Would you have any suggestions of where to start on a 91 GMC Truck--350 engine--that was driving along fine, then engine hiccuped a couple of times and quit.  I have no spark?  Do ignition coils quit like that? Thanks for any thoughts that you can send my way---Charlie

First thing is check the rotor in side the dis cap if it is burnt change it. if looks good it could be the dis cap or dis moduialer .99 percent it is this it cost around 29 dollors in the parts store.
