Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman snowblower, craftsman snowblower, float bowl

Question
blower will start and run in choke position but wont continue to run in the run position. this is first time trying to start unit this year. unit was stored with stabilizer in the fuel. thanks

Answer
Classic dirty carb syndrome...may be some moisture/water in the carb.  Fuel is good since it starts and you used stabilizer but it can be next to impossible to keep out all moisture in the fuel system.

Should be a very simple fix by draining the carburetor float bowl...several videos on Youtube, just search lawnmower or snowblower carb cleaning, carb overhaul, or draining the float bowl.

What is the model number of you snowblower?  The model number is located on a sticker and the number format will be something to xxx.xxxxx or xxx-xxx-xxxx.

Let me know the model number so I can look up your carb.
