GMC Repair: 97 Suburban blower motor, gmc suburban, 12volts

Question
I have a 97 GMC Suburban that when you turn the front fan switch on it does not blow out the air it should. It just blows very lightly. I compared it to a 99 GMC and it is a night and day difference. I was told it could be the relay or the motor. Any suggestions?

Answer
If you are getting 12volts at the motor on high speed then either there is something in the motor stopping it from blowing properly, or the motor is going out.

It it possible for the motor to suck in trash from the floorboard, or from outside. I have found everthing from leaves to parking tickets, to Wal-Mart bags in them and it would be the first thing I would check if it is getting good power.
