GMC Repair: 2000 gmc 1500 armrest, gmc 1500, spring clip

Question
I have captians seats for my 2000 gmc 1500 i just got seat covers and the only way they will fit is if i take of the armrests (not on door) i dont see any bolts or screws.

Answer
To remove them, you will have to take your factory seat cover off most of the way, pull back tha cardboard sheild, look into where the armrest attaches and remove the spring clip. You will need to put the clip back in place before recovering the seat to get the armrest to lock back in place.
