GMC Repair: 2000 GMC Envoy Turn Signal Clicking, gmc envoy, turn signal

Hello Jim,
I have about 58000 miles on my Envoy and during a recent trip the turn signal began to click even though it was not activated.  It does not do it all the time but it is truly annoying when it does occur.  I see that you have handled a question like this in the past but I did not see the final resolution.  Do I need to replace the flasher?  If so where is it and is it any easy replace.

Yes it does need to be replaced, however there is a recall for that concern on Envoy's, so I would see the closest dealer to see if your truck is involved in the campaign.

Just in case it is not, it is attached to the drivers kick panel. Just take the black plastic cover down from above the pedals and you will see it.
