going at 55mph car ran good, slowly down for a turn or lights, car would die, i went out to start car now it won't start, lights and all come on but it want start, only source of transportation please help,asap. 1994 buick regal, v-8

IF you have the theft deterrent system in the vehicle that has the micro-chip in the key you need to have the dealer check the key.

What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made as a vacuum line may have been knocked loose or a wire connection came loose, Look around in the area where work was performed.

Try starting the vehicle in NEUTRAL.

You need to check the PURPLE wire at the starter post that is marked with an "S" for battery voltage as you try and start the vehicle. IF you HAVE battery voltage at this wire then your starter is faulty.
