Answer -
ABSOLUTELY NOT a computer problem.

DEFINE won't crank ?.

Ae you saying that when you turn the ignition key to try and start the engine you hear NOTHING happening ?.

OR

Can your hear the engine turning over but it just won't start ?.

Let me know  as a FOLLOW-UP QUESTION to this one.

Thank's for the reply:
The Jimmy has 151000 Mi.on it.
It starts and runs when eng.is cold, does not run rough except when you turn it off it takes about 2 hrs.before it will start again.(Eng.turns over but just won't start until it cools down.)Has a new fuel pump.
Thank You,
Larry

Answer
The most common fault would be the IGNITION MODULE at there are 2 sides buil into the module. the CRANK side and the RUN side. Most likely the RUN side is faulty.

Check to see if you have spark at the spark plugs as you are cranking the engine when it is at the point when it won't start and let me know.

What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made as a vacuum line may have been knocked loose or a wire connection came loose, Look around in the area where work was performed..
