GMC Repair: heater blower, jumper wire, gmc safari

Question
At first my heater blower would work once in a while. Now it dosn't work at all. last year I replaced the switch and it worked up until now.
The switch and the fuses seem to be ok.Could the fan motor be sticking or bad or what else could it be?

Answer
IF the blower fan motor works ONLY on HIGH SPPED and not on any lower speed, The fault is most likly the BLOWER RESISTOR.

IF you have no blower operation at ALL. Turn the heater blower onto second or third speed nad using astandard 12 volt test light see if you have battery voltgae at the blower motor wire.

You can take a 20 amp FUSED jumper wire and unplug the wire at the blower motor and attach on end of your FUSED jumper wire to the positive side of the battery and the other to the blower motor where you disconnected the wire and see if the blower runs.

Let me know.
