GMC Repair: Steering coulum, gmc 1500, costly repair

1990 GMC 1500 Has tilt steering wheel.From the point where it tilts it is loose in all directions.The tilt works fine.Thanks Roy

this is a problem it is a costly repair in a shop and it takes special tools to repair. it is around 400 t0 500 t0 repair . when folks come to my shop i tell them the price and i must admit they do not want to pay the price on a older car or truck then they ask what they can do and i tell them it is simpile go to a sallavage yard and pick up a good used colluim for 50 t0 75 dollors. easy to install good luck to u pete
