Question - I have an analog instrument panel and there has not been any other work done to the car in them last 6 months other then oil change.

thanks Tom

I have a 1998 chevy lumina 4 door, my instrument panel lights will not work, I checked all the fuses they are good. the DRL lights seem to be working ok, the instrument panel lights will not work at all. Is there a circuit breaker or an other fuses under the dash that I don't know about.  thanks for all your help.

Do you have an ANALOG or a DIGITAL display.?. Has there been ANY mechanical work done on the vehicle in the last 6 months and if so, WHAT was done ?.

Answer
Usually around the headlight switch the is an outer ring that you can turn clockwise or counter clockwise. Turn ON the headlights and turn this ring and see IF your dash lights illuminate.

Some vehicles have a small wheel that when you turn it all the way ON the interior lights will illuminate. Try turning this wheel and see if the dash lights illuminate.

Can you get the interior lights to illuminate by either above said method ?.

There IS a fuse located in the fuse panel and it is usually marked as I/P and is a 5 or 3 amp fuse, Check it and check all the others while your there.
