GMC Repair: 98 gmc suburban power booster replacement, gmc suburban, power booster

Question
I am attempting to replace the power booster in a 1998 gmc suburban 1500.  Everything is disconnected from the original power booster except the brake pedal.  Do you know what holds the brake pedal to the booster?  I can't see what the power booster is attached to the pedal with because the steering post is in the way.
