GMC Repair: Wiper control 83 suburban, windshield wipers, wiper motors

Question
My wipers will not shut off properly in the off position. High and low speed work, but the intermittant portion does not, and it will not shut off unless I turn off the ignition. I replaced the switch, but that was not the problem. I noticed a circut control box that the switch pluged into. It is part number D6355A, I believe. Could the be the problem, and if so is the part you carry the correct one?
Thank you! Daryl

Answer
You do not want to fool around with windshield wipers. As the LAST thing you want to happen is that they quit going down the highway at night in the rain.

I STRONGLY recommend replacing the complete wiper motor assembly as well as the electrical control board.

GM had a problem with a GROUND circuit in their wipers systems in the 80 thru 85 models and several FIXES were recommended with little to no results.

We do REBUILD, IF REBUILDABLE, Wiper motors and control boards. If you should decide to replace yours, I would like to have your old one.
