GMC Repair: Steering column, turn signal switch, steering wheel

Question
hello, this is a g.m. steering column, year I dont know, nor the history, it is a tilt no telescopic. this column is in a street rod. when i turn left the signal will cancel when I turn the wheel 1/4 turn. when I turn right it appears to be normal. can that turn signal be adjusted inside the column? if I can, can you explain how or send me a drawing? I appreciate the help. thanks, Dale.

Answer
NO, There is NO adjustment. Either someone has had there fingers inside of the column components to replace something and did NOT re-install the components back in correctly or you will have to replace the TURN SIGNAL SWITCH within the column and this requires SPECIAL TOOLS to remove the steering wheel and another special tool to remove the LOCK PLATE in order to access the TURN SIGNAL SWITCH in order to replace it.
