GMC Repair: problem with the tailgate and window, chevy dealer, component failure

Question
first i have a 97 blazer and last week i let my wife use it and now the back window and tailgate won't open. when i put the key into it all the locks will still lock and unlock  but when i press the button to open the "trunk" all i get is a clicking noise. i read the owner manual and it explain how to use the emergency release and i tried that and all i got was the same clicking noise.

This one is going to have to be looked at by a Chevy Dealer as I have had this same question over and over.

There may be a common problem and I would advise that you have the dealers service department look at it. There may be a component failure .
