With motor running I turn on the AC and motor shuts down. With AC off motor starts up and runs.
Sorry for being unclear. Perhaps I should have used the word "ENGINE".
I start the car. The engine is running. I turn on the AC. The engine shuts off. The car is no longer running. Dash signal lights come on. I turn off the AC. I start the car the engine runs. The car moves. I turn on the AC. The engine stops running. I hope that I have been clear about my problem.
Mechanics have replaced a number of parts, but still haven't discovered the remedy. Do you have a suggestion.

PLEASE Define the word MOTOR(s).
Are you saying blower MOTOR, engine cooling MOTOR, Power seat MOTOR, Trunk pull-down MOTOR, Windshield wiper MOTOR ?.

AnswerThat clears it up. Motor = ENGINE. Much better.
Have you tried UNPLUGGING the electrical harness that plugs into the A/C compressor to see if your problem is resolved ?. Try it and let me know.

I do not want any Chilton or Hayes manuals as I personally do not like them as the information contained in them is very mis-leading in my opinion.
