GMC Repair: Sparkplug fouling, spark plug fouling, spring seals

Question
Hi,

Are those spark plug antifoulers that you can buy any good?
I have an older chevy pickup that burns a little oil and fouls one sparkplug that has to be replaced about once every 6 months.
Once I replace the plug, everything's fine
I know the engine is tired but I wonder if I can extend the life of the one spark plug a little longer.
Thank's for any help you can give.....

Not in my opinion.

Your spark plug fouling is probably due to leaking vave spring seals that operate on that particular cylinder.

They are easy enough and cheap enough to replace and NO you do NOT have to pull the cylinder haeds to replace the seals.
