Question -
My truck boiled over and since then, will not start. There is no oil in the water and no water in the oil. All fuses appear to be okay. I get a gas smell and some spark, but it will not start. I have changed the spark plugs also. Where do I go next? Are there any fusable links to check or other fuse locations besides the main one in the engine compartment and inside the cab by the driver door?
Answer -
You said SOME SPARK. If the ignition from the spark plug wire to the spark plug will not jump a one inch gap as holding the spark plug 1" from the spark plug and starting the engine and the spark is NOT blue in color you do not have sufficient ignition.

What made the vehicle OVERHEAT ?. When it did overheat what part of the engine got extremly wet from the coolant ?.

I am alway in need of Car, Truck and SUV service manuals as well as MOTORS MANUALS and if you would like to donate any that you have I will be more than happy to pay REASONABLE shipping to get them. I do not want any Chilton or Hayes manuals as I personally do not like them as the information is very mis-leading in my opinion.

***The engine overheated as a result of low water level. Althought I have not found the exact source of the leak. It seemed to come from behind the valve cover gasket. I'm not exactly what parts of the engine were the wettest sonce I did not get to look at it in daylight until the next day.

Answer
OK, look and see if the coolant ran down the engine and onto the serpentine belt(s) area and possibly down onto the crankshaft pulley(s) and let me know.
