GMC Repair: charging system, chevy caviler, e mail address

batt light stays on battery and alternater have been replaced will not charge make of car 99 chevy caviler car starts and runs fine untill battery goes dead

Is there the possibility that the alternator that you have is faulty ?. Don't set there shaking your head saying "CAN'T BE. Take it off the vehicle and take it into any local major parts facility and they will be more than happy to test it for you. I have seen numerous brand new alternators right out of the box that were faulty, Which is why I always bench test them before I install them.

What lead up to your conclusion that the charging system is not operating correctly. Also what repairs of anykind what-so-ever have been performed on the vehicle prior to this problem ?. Even if you think that a recent repair is not related to your charging problem, I want to know what was done.
