Alfa Romeo Repair: 1992 alfa spider, alfa romeo spider, suspension bushings

I am looking to purchase a 1992 alfa romeo spider with 63k mile. other than the color(green) it seems to be in excellent shape. Is there a big improvement in the newer model as comapred to the one that were manufactred in the middle 80's? and what should I look for before I purchase it?

Check out the rear suspension bushings and if the rear sags (as most do) it needs new rear springs.

The ignition is more reliable as well as the valve timing.

Green is a great color for a sports car--cops do not think green cars can go far or fast.
