Alfa Romeo Repair: Alfa166 ICS code lost, alfa romeo owners club, alfa romeo owners

Question
Hy expert Sokol
car is: Alfa Romeo 2.0 TS, year 2000, 128.000 km says LCD on tachimeter (228.000 km would be closer to reality)...
For unknown reason, my Alfas ICS was resetted and asks for code, which I dont have. I didnt get it with car (didint know I should get it) and I cant trace back to 1st owner, since car was imported to Slovenia in year 2004, by who-knows whom, from where and how many owners did it change. I didnt disconect battery or mess with any of the electrics of the car. I parked it, all ok, 30 minutes later I start the engine, all ok, accept ICS wants 4 digit code. Now I cant access anything operated trough ICS, therefore - I cant access nothing.
Can ICS be somehow restarted without code, or can unknown code be somehow erased or changed and new one stored in its memory, by-passing the current code. Can ICS be made as "plug n play" device, just turn it ON or OFF, no codes required ever, even after resetting for any reason, known or unknown, like in my case.
I bought the car 5 days ago, for unusually low price, (only AR166 I could affort), and to be honest, I knew, sooner or later, something will kick back because of that. And there it is. Please help me expert Stephen Sokol (in slovenian SOKOL means HAWK - bird of prey).

Answer
I do not have access to that data in the usa.  I would try contacting the Alfa Romeo Owners Club of England.

My grandparents came from the Kingdon of Bohemia in 1896.
Here, we call it a falcon.

Before contacting the owners club.  Disconnect the battery cables and clean the ends of the cables and the battery posts.
Then touch the two cables together while still disconnected from the battery.  Hold them together for 10 to 20 seconds then reattach them to the battery.   Then drive at least 10 miles (16 km). This just might do it...
