Alfa Romeo Repair: 1987 Alfa Romeo Milano Wheel Offset, alfa romeo milano, road irregularities

Question
Hi Stephen! I'm needing to install the widest rear and front wheels(towards the chassis)  without extending the wheel outside of my 2 1/2" lowered car's fender wells, therefore I'd like to know the wheel offset on both the front and rear wheels of an Alfa Romeo Milano? Also, will a 17" custom wheel having a 5-100 bolt pattern work on the car?  Thanks! Eli from Atlanta,Georgia

Answer
a 5-100 will not work.
With what you have done and propose all you are doing is making the car uncomfortable on the street.

Go to a 205/60/15 Yokohama tire and get serious about a driving school. Pirelli does not support this size so
Yokohama is the best choice.

the 60 series has enough sidewall stiffness and comfort over
road irregularities.  Having stiffened it all up by lowering the vehicle going to a narrower sidewall will just knock out your fillings.

Finally, if you must go to another wheel, make sure the bolt holes have steel inserts.
