QUESTION: are the frames on the ambassadore (72) and javelin (71) the same ?

ANSWER: Technically, these are uni-body construction so they do not have frames.
An Ambassador and a Javelin have different wheelbases, so there is a difference in the chassis.
Is there something paticular you are wanting to do?

QUESTION: just got a 72 ambassador have a 71 javelin . ambassador has under 50,000 miles was garage kept . just trying to utilize as much of ambassador as possible . javlin is a little rough . thanks

You're in luck.
Numerous components will interchange.
Front suspension & steering; brakes & brake components; everything in the engine compartment; Electrical components. i.e switches, steering column, many lamnps, etc.
Engine, transmission, rear end, & crossmember are the same.
