American Motors: 1974 AMC JAVELIN -IGNITION-, neutral safety switch, seat belt system

Question
I am having Ignition problems with my 1974 Javelin - 304 2bbl.

- Car has started and ran by jumping across starter relay.
- Will not start by ignition (key).
- Instrument appear to work.
- Ignition switch appears to meter out fine.
- Fuses metered out OK.
- Replaced starter relay, Coil, rotor assembly.
- There is one more relay mounted on the passenger side fender that appears to be the neutral safety switch, but unsure?

Running out of ideas, would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks, Kelly.

Answer
1974 AMC vehicles came with a seat belt system that required the seat belts to be connected before the engine will start. There is a small box with a red button located under the hood. The systems were usually bypassed, but this could be what's causing your no start condition.
Find the little box and push the button; let me know if it still won't start.
Does it crank over?
