American Motors: 66 Marlin stallls but it appears its the alternator, auto parts store, alternator

Question
Wrote you a few days ago regarding a stalling problem on my 66 Marlin.  Turns out my battery went bad and when I replaced it I found my alternator is the real culprit no additional voltaqe at all.  It seems to have the original Motorola Alternator ,car has 26,000 miles on it.  Is there a reasonable substitute available as well as a recommend on a place to do a rebuild?  Thanks again.

Answer
Some people have installed a Delco alternator. It might require some bracket modification.
You would have to find a shop that rebuilds alternator and can handle an old Motorola. You might be able to buy a rebuilt alternator at your local auto parts store.
