American Motors: Question about a 1966 AMC Marlin, borg warner, planet houston

Question
I just purchased a 1966 AMC Marlin with a 327 V8, 4bbl carb, and a 4 speed with the console, and I have a couple of questions. I have been trying to find out how many were made like this. I have been been searching all over the internet and I can't even find someone that has one.  Also, do you know who made the transmissions for the Marlisn. The car has power steering, and on the steering wheel it has a big
"R" and under that it says Power Steering.  I'm wondering if this is the original steering wheel.  Here is a link to a pic that I took: http://img157.imageshack.us/my.php?image=marlindashandsteeringwheelhn4.jpg

I'm also look for parts, and if you know of any web sites that carries AMC Marlin parts would be very helpful.

Thanks

Answer
Robert,
I do not know how many 66 Marlin with 4 speeds were produced. There might be a book listing production numbers; try a local book store. i.e. Waldenbooks, etc.
Your Marlin has a Borg Warner T-10 transmission.
It does look like the orignal steering wheel, power steering was a big deal back then.
There are a number of AMC vendors. A few are:

www.Americanpartsdepot.com
Collier AMC    919-242-4462
Eddie Stakes Planet Houston AMX 713-785-1375
Kennedy American   614-879-7283

Hope this helps,
