American Motors: no start, crank sensor, amc vehicles

Question
Dear Kevin, I have a 1988 Eagle with a V-8,it has an intermittent no start problem,I have changed the crank sensor it worked fine for a couple of years and now it is acting up again, I have checked the output with a micro volt meter it has about a 100 microvolt peak. I have checked it and 1 other I have, both are around 1500 ohms.
Could it be something other than the crank sensor
Thanks Mike

Answer
I apologize, but I do not have any experience on late model Eagles, only the older models built by AMC. Chysler bought AMC out in the early 80's and continued using the Eagle name, but they were completely different from the AMC vehicles. Try addressing your question to the Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth or Mitsubishi expert. Good luck.
