Audio Systems: car radio in house

Question
I have a motorcycle battery on a float charger in the basement..my question is could I possibly run a car radio off of that battery while it is being float charged..it is a 12v ??

Answer
Hi Bill.
The simplest answer to what seems like a simple question:

As long as you have enough amperage available for operation of the radio and the volume level you desire.. yes.
I would not plan on playing it too loudly due to the low amperage rating of the float charger.
Hook up the charger directly to the radio to see if it has enough to run the radio on its own first or you may end up discharging your battery you are trying to maintain.
Be aware that you may get some 60 Hz hum.  A noise filter can remove some of that if the hum is too loud.

If it will not work, you can use a regular 10 amp battery charger which will drive the radio.
