Audio Systems: 1998 Lincoln Town Car CD changer

I have a 1998 Lincoln Town Car.  When I try to use the CD changer, it shows Track 1, but then it kicks out the magazine and shows the error message of "no mag."  It is the original Clarion cd changer and radio.  Is there anythi8ng I can do to get the changer to work?

your CD changer laser led its off most likely defective, you insert the cd magazine press the CD button the radio will show the information for the ammount of discs you have and after it checks every single one it will give you the error
bad CD no magazine or empty magazine no cd

your CD changer needs to be repair or replace
