Audio Systems: 1996 Taurus GL Head Unit Replacment

I own a 1996 Taurus GL and when i use the cassette player attachment for my iphone it only plays out of the right side speakers. The adapter works in my dads car. Is it worth buying a new radio or just replace the tape cassette player in the head unit?

there is no need to replace the radio, the radio was made to play tapes not that adapter you have

best way to solve the problem is by installing an audio adapter made for Ford Taurus radios
