how can i connect a sony model str d311 receiver to a bose acoustamas 10 sub woofer ??? is this possible at all ???p

Answer
First, it is not recommended because Bose does not adhere to international standard signal levels and therefore are not interchangeable with the rest of the world.

However, in this case, if you are brave to follow the instructions and can connect the cable that comes with the Bose sub you might get away with a connection to the STR D311 receiver.

PS:  If you don't have the cable that comes with the Bose sub you will have to get it.  It is a multi-pin type but is not a standard connector; works only with the Bose Acoustamas systems.
