Audio Systems: maxima radio problem., maxima radio, laser diode

i have a maxima 04 radio bose system .....when i put the fm radio all is going rigth but wen i insert a cd the speaker sometime work and somtime not .. help what could it be that issue ???

ONE: Could be dirty cd.  Have you noticed some play well, others do not?

TWO:  For this age cd player could be the laser diode inside the optical pickup is either out of adjustment or the laser diode has gone weak and cannot always play the cd.

THREE:  If it is cold outside it could be condensation building up on the cd when it goes inside the changer.  It should clear up after long enough time for the disc to get dry of the moisture. This would be only in real cold weather.
