Audio Systems: honda Odyssey iPod interface input, Honda Odyssey ipod, Honda Odyssey iphone

Is it possible to add an iPod interface to the original Odyssey radio ? no tape the Honda mini van comes with rear DVD and satellite radio, there is no ipod connection and the FM modulator and transmitters don't work in this vehicle, I want to listen to my iPod iPhone

The Honda Odyssey radio can controls any ipod using the correct ipod interface made for Honda radios, your factory radio needs to have xm satellite controls, the ipod will work using the satellite controls, both will work together but if you unplug the xm tuner there is going to be a lot more iPod text in the Honda radio screen
the XM is in the back left side of the Honda Odyssey the panel needs to be remove,
if you don't have xm there is nothing to worry about and the iPod interface plugs into the back of the radio, to pull the Odyssey radio out first remove the silver trim under the ac controls, they are hold with clips 2 screws for the radio are visible , there is one more in the middle you need a long screw driver
