Audio Systems: 97 mountaineer amp, ford amplifier, ford hig low

Hey, I'm hooking up an after market amp in my friends 97 mercury mountaineer. I was wondering if i could hook up the connections to the old amp to the new one? Also i was wondering what the wires were the RCA cables? Any response is need... its hooked to the factory head unit as well!

Yes you can add a new amplifier, but the factory foord amplifier needs to stay in the vehicle the radio takes power to turn on from that amplifier don't remove it
there is no rca wires but you can add the  hi/low interface
