Audio Systems: 2003 Nissan Maxima Audio System Cutting Off Sound, 2003 nissan maxima, car stereo system

Question
Recently I ran into an issue with car stereo system installed in 2003 Nissan Maxima. It is a regular stock audio system made by Clarion: model number PN-2431D (non Bose, single CD player). System was working with no issues until "out of the blue" it started to cut off the sound to some of the speakers. Usually only the tweeters play the sound and none of the door speakers do. At times everything is working as it should, but eventually goes bad after all. Since I didn't expect speakers to be bad I replaced it with a used radio, supposedly tested to be working. Unfortunately it's working exactly the same as the one that it replaced - cutting off the sound. Issue exists no matter which one of the sound sources is being used (CD, AM, FM, Tape). What could be causing this issue? Is it some kind of problem related to any other one of the components of a whole sound system in this car, or maybe the actual head unit that I bought is faulty? Thank you in advance for the answer.

Answer
if any of the speakers, touch ground it will send the radio into protection mode  turning off the spaekers output, sounds like a bad speaker, take the radiot o a shop and ask them to test it
they charge $10 to $15.00 that way you know for sure that the problem is in the vehicle and not the radio

good luck
