Audio Systems: 2000 Mercury Villager compatibles, mercury villager, single cd player

Looking to buy a used replacement radio (AM/FM single CD player with multi changer control, 2000 Mercury Villager, OEM part #Y5F5-18C868-AA). Seems there are a plethora of very similar model #s available for the 18C868 series (begin or end in different letter combinations) - how to tell if I can successfully swap in a similar item or not? I can't find an interchangeability list with my particular radio on it... thanks in advance

If you have only radio and cd changer any radio with the 18c868 will work with the factory amplifier and woofer, make sure brackets are the same   

if you have rear seat controls, stering controls or video system  use on the same part number Y5F5-18C868-AA
