Audio Systems: Subwoofer Matching with Amp, kicker amp, mono amp

I just purchased two Alpine 10'' single coil 4ohm subs, that each have a 750W peak power (250rms). I have all of the other necessary equipment to put it all together, but I don't know what type or size of amp to get. I am though leaning towards getting a Kicker Amp but I'm not sure which one to get. Should I get a amp that powers more than 750W? or just in general what type of amp specifications should I look for, for those two specific subs together?

For a mono-parallel array get a one channel, mono amp that will provide 500 watts of continuous power into 2 Ohms.
