Audio Systems: wireless speakers, rocketfish, decent sound quality

Question
Thanks for taking my question.  I have a home theater system in my downstairs.  The components were all professionally installed and sit inside a seperate A/V room.  The setup is pretty straight forward in as much as all the various components run through an ONKYO receiver. I recently added Apple TV to the mix and it too runs through the receiver and it all works/sounds great be it for music or movies.  We have an outdoor patio right off from the viewing area and my wife wants to try to find a way to get music from our receiver outside.  I went to Best Buy and they talked up the SONUS system as providing decent sound quality and a very easy setup but the huge limitation to SONUS from what I can see is that it DOES NOT allow you to broadcast from your receiver so in short it is really nothing mroe than a wifi receiver with a built-in speaker - great if you just want to stream internet radio or Pandora but not great if you truly want to have whatever is coming from your receiver across the wireless speakers/device.  I've heard mixed reviews about Rocketfish - positively that it can in fact be hooked directly into your receiver and will then broadcast via wireless signal to Rocketfish speakers (either indoor Rocketfish speakers or Outdoor speaker(s) - the one that looks like a big silver cone).  Curious to get the thoughts of an expert as to what the best solution is to get my receiver pushed wirelessly to two speakers.  We don't need Klipsch or Bose quality sound.. just a decent sound for when we are entertaining on the patio and want either appleTV, internet radio streaming, comcast music stations or even rarely TV sound.

Thanks for your advice!

Answer
I read through your discussion.  But, don't know what the question is.

There are many kinds and varieties of wireless speaker systems, amplifiers and fm transmitters, etc. I am not familiar with the Rocketfish but the specs look good and the reviews on it are admirable.  The Sonos (Sonus is not the right product) is not what you are looking for at all.

If you want to make it more clear to me what your question is will be glad to dialog on it but I do not give equipment recommendations - too much subjectivity; every person had different needs, wants, budgets, colors, etc....

Have a great day.
