Audio Systems: 2005 GMC Denali, defective unit, denali

Question
Recently the stereo in our gmc quit working.  the display still works and you can change stations and play cds but no sound comes out of the speakers.  The gmc store said it may be the amp and said it would be a min.$1000.00 to fix it. can you help? I think i can fix it with a little guidance.  Thanks Mike

No this amplifier is not easy to repair, it will be better just to buy a rebuild unit from oemautosound
and send them back your defective unit  last time i check they are $150.00 to $300.00

make sure you pull the defective amplifier and get the part number from the side sticker
