The battery went out in my 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer about 4 months ago.  After having the battery replaced the cd player would not work.  I have taken the battery cables off, waited an hour, hooked everything back up, and still nothing.  I get a   click, click, click sound. there r no error messages.can u please help me.thankx,  kamal

there is no reset button or anything you can do
the radio needs to be repair,  the problem is that when the
radio gets power from the first time it moves from , shipping mode to
ready mode

this is not possible because there are discs inside the radio and it gets stuck

all the cds need to be remove from the radio,before you power the unit again
