Audio Systems: 87 iroc Bose speakers to kenwood kdc8005, bose amp, bose speakers

AC delco UM6 VF cassette with Bose amp speakers has RF neg and LF neg spliced together with 2 non shielded wires out open RF neg slot. Also LR neg and RR neg are spliced and non shielded out LR neg. DO I wire the Kenwood KDC 8005 to this same configuration? Also where are the relays or amp located in 87 iroc Camaro? I see the 4 wires supplied to speakers are totally different than UM6vf radio plugs.

yes you connect each channel and not the shield connection, also you need to find a radio that is under 3 watts per channel,
if the radio is a high power you need this interface for the bose system or you will burn the factory amplifiers, that are inside the doors and the rear panels
